Beauvoorde Castle is currently closed for restoration. However, there's a new audio tour available to explore the castle park and village. Pick up your audio guide at the visitor center. There are two versions to choose from: one for adults and another for children. The children's version includes an exciting treasure hunt. Family fun guaranteed!
Guided Walking Tour for All Ages
Julienne Flyps, the last inhabitant of Beauvoorde Castle, can't wait to tell you all about life in and around the castle. With the audio guide in hand, Julienne (voiced by Joke Devynck) guides you through the castle park and the streets of the picturesque village, Wulveringem. Along the way you find out how this farmer's daughter captured the heart of the eccentric castle lord, Arthur Merghelynck, who left his mark on village life about 150 years ago. Take your time to discover the story of the man who stopped time.

Treasure Hunt: Find the Lost Necklace!
Restoration works are in full swing at the castle. To ensure a smooth process, all paintings, cabinets, and precious items have been carefully packed and securely stored. However, Arthur's necklace has mysteriously gone missing. Julienne is in a state of panic. She had promised her husband to take good care of the necklace. Arthur received it when the king bestowed knighthood upon him. The necklace is incredibly precious and must be found! Are you a skilled detective? Will you help find it?

- When? The visitor centre is open from 13.00 until 17.00 h:
- 1 April until 30 September 2023: every Saturday and Sunday
- During Easter Holidays (BE) & Summer Holidays (BE): every day
- The walking tour takes approximately 1.5 hours.
